Is the lovevery playkit subscription worth it?
First, what is a lovevery playkit subscription? The playkit subscription is a box of Montessori inspired toys mailed to your child every other month for the first year, and every 3 months for the second and third year. The subscription costs $40 a month (10% less = $36 a month if you prepay for your subscription). Meaning each box in the first year is $80 ($72 with prepay) and each box for the second and third year are $120 ($108 with prepay).
To determine if these playkits are actually worth the subscription I found similar toys -as similar as I could find- to compare the price as if you were to buy each toy individually (basically make your own playkit).
The lovevery toys are not available for individual sale, they can only be purchased within the playkit. Also, the lovevery toys are sustainably sourced, bpa and phthalate free, and all kits ship carbon neutral through projects that offset any carbon emitted when shipping. Basically, purchasing these toys is good for our environment.
The dupes I have linked, are a variety of organic, bpa free, etc. when I could find it avliable. But most of the dupes are not exceeding in global safety standards for babies or sustainably sourced.
So, whether you are only wanting to purchase a few specific toys from a lovevery playkit (and not spend $108 for the entire kit) or wanting to DIY the entire playkit (which I do not suggest for the PIONEER), here are the dupes.
